The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
Plain English
'Two are better than one,' because they have a good reward for their labor. If they fall, one lifts up his fellow, and fellow means companion. It is a sad thing to be alone when you fall, and falleth means falls, because nobody is there to help you up.
Devotional
Two people lift a heavy cooler, and one of them slips on the step. The other steadies the load and helps the friend up before any lecture. Let someone lift you, and be ready to lift someone else.
