The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

1 Corinthians 12:27King James Version

Plain English

You are the body of Christ, and ye means you, spoken to the whole group. 'Members in particular' means each person is a specific part, not a spare piece. In Christ, each member belongs.

Devotional

At a church supper, one person stirs the pot and another washes the spoons. The hand does not envy the eye, because both are needed. If your part looks small, it is still a real part of the body of Christ.
