Plain English
Lowliness means humility, meekness means gentleness, longsuffering means patience that can wait, and forbearing means bearing with one another in love. 'Endeavouring' means earnestly trying to guard the unity the Spirit gives, with peace holding people together. Peace is not a demand to call harm harmless.
Devotional
A crowded kitchen can turn sharp when too many hands reach for the same pan. One patient voice can keep the peace from boiling over. Work at that bond, and do not use peace as a cover for wrong.
