The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

1 Corinthians 10:31King James Version

Plain English

Whether you eat or drink, or whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of God. Ye means you, and whatsoever means whatever. Ordinary life counts, because a meal, a chore, and a conversation can be offered for God's honor.

Devotional

Washing dishes can feel like nothing but soap and time. It can also be done carefully, with a quiet thank you to God for plates that were used by people you love. The ordinary hour is a real offering.
