The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Plain English
"The sufferings of this present time" are real, and Paul does not wave them away. He reckons, he counts it this way, that they "are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." Present trouble is heavy, and the glory God will show is greater. This is not a claim that nothing bad will happen.
Devotional
A man sits with a heating pad and a stack of medical papers on the arm of the chair. He would not say the pain is nothing, and Paul would not say that either. He would say the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory ahead. The bad is real, and the glory is greater.
