The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Plain English
"He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." Hath means has, and "will perform it" means he will finish it and carry it through. The good work is the work God starts in a person, and it lasts until "the day of Jesus Christ," when Christ brings it to completion. You can be "confident of this very thing", and God finishes the good work he starts.
Devotional
A quilt sits half finished on a frame in the spare room. The maker has not thrown it out. She comes back to the needle. Paul says you can be confident of this very thing: he who began a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
