The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

Deuteronomy 33:27King James Version

Plain English

"The eternal God is thy refuge" means the everlasting God is your safe shelter. "Underneath are the everlasting arms," arms that do not give out when you sink. The verse also says he will "thrust out the enemy from before thee," push the enemy back from in front of you. You are held by a God who does not wear out.

Devotional

Someone's legs give way by the kitchen counter, and a family member catches them before they hit the floor. Human arms get tired. Moses said that underneath are the everlasting arms. The eternal God is your refuge, and he does not drop the person he holds.
