The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Plain English
Jesus says, "Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me." A yoke is a wooden bar that joins two workers so they pull together, and "learn of me" means learn from him. He is "meek and lowly in heart," gentle and humble, and "ye shall find rest unto your souls." "My yoke is easy, and my burden is light" means his way is kind, and it does not mean a Christian never has work to do.
Devotional
Two people carry a couch. One takes the heavy end and says, "Walk with me. Do not drag this alone", and that is close to a yoke. Jesus invites you to take his yoke and learn from him, because he is gentle and humble. The rest he gives is for the soul, and the burden is light because he is in it with you.
