The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
Plain English
"O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation." A joyful noise is a glad, loud sound, and it does not have to be a polished performance. The Lord is "the rock of our salvation," solid and saving. "Come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms", and the invitation is to come, and to come together.
Devotional
The tune in the car is a little off, and nobody is recording it. Psalm 95 still says to make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Come before his presence with thanksgiving, and use a psalm. A glad noise is welcome, and you do not need a choir robe to begin.
