Plain English
"With thee is the fountain of life", and with thee means with you, with God. A fountain is a spring, the source of the water, not a puddle someone else filled. "In thy light shall we see light", and in God's light, we see. We do not find the way by staring harder into the dark, and life and sight both come from him.
Devotional
At night you cannot find the chair until a light is on. Then you see the light, and by that light you see the floor. The psalm says that with God is the fountain of life, and in his light we see light. He is the spring, and seeing starts when he shines.
